Most Visited Websites in Pakistan: 2026 Rankings Compared

The most visited websites in Pakistan are google.com, youtube.com, chatgpt.com, facebook.com and whatsapp.com. Semrush's July 2026 list and Similarweb's August 2026 ranking put those five in the same order, so that part of the question has a firm answer. Below fifth place the rankings stop agreeing, and where they split tells you more about how Pakistan searches than the top five do. This page gives the ranked lists with their dates and methods, shows where they conflict, and says what that means if you want visitors from Pakistan.

The most visited websites in Pakistan: the top 20

This is Semrush's list of the top websites in Pakistan for July 2026, the latest month on its Pakistan page when we read it on September 11, 2026. Beside each domain is its position in Similarweb's ranking for August 2026, wherever it appears in Similarweb's free top 50. The visit counts are Semrush's estimates, not measurements.

Three notes before you quote any of it:

  • Semrush doesn't categorize domains on this page. The two rows marked as adult sites are the ones Similarweb files under Adult. We have left their names out; the full list is on the Semrush page. Four others, which we also list without names (rows 14, 16, 19 and 20), aren't in Similarweb's free top 50 either, so neither page says what they are, and we haven't guessed.
  • Read the table, not the summary. Semrush's generated paragraph under the table describes google.com's audience as "29.23% desktop / 29.23% mobile". The table itself says 70.77% mobile.
  • Similarweb's top 50 adds sites that miss Semrush's top 20: gemini.google.com (9th), daraz.pk (13th), netflix.com (15th), wikipedia.org (19th), pinterest.com (20th), cricinfo.com (21st), olx.com.pk (22nd), priceoye.pk (23rd) and bing.com (24th), plus domains Similarweb files under Adult or can't categorize at all, such as xhtv.today in 6th place.

Four rankings, four different questions

Every "most visited" list is an estimate built from a sample. None of them counts all of Pakistan's internet traffic, and each answers a slightly different question, which is why they disagree.

SourceWhat it ranks byPeriod we readIts top fiveKeep in mind
[Semrush Top Websites](https://www.semrush.com/trending-websites/pk/all)Estimated monthly visits, from clickstream data the page says reflects "over 200 million anonymized users"July 2026google.com, youtube.com, chatgpt.com, facebook.com, whatsapp.comThe only one of the four that shows total visit estimates and a device split for free

[Ahrefs Top Websites](https://ahrefstop.com/websites/pakistan)"Organic search traffic estimates"August 2026youtube.com, chatgpt.com, wikipedia.org, cricinfo.com, google.comCounts only visits that arrive from organic search results

Radar also warns, on the page itself, that its lists "include domains with organic activity as well as domains with emerging malicious behavior." So googleapis.com and gstatic.com, in third and fifth, aren't sites anyone chooses to visit. They're infrastructure that pages and apps call in the background.

For a question about where people spend their visits, Semrush and Similarweb are the closer fit. For a question about search, Ahrefs is the one to read, keeping in mind that its figures are Ahrefs' estimates rather than measurements.

Where the rankings agree, and where they split

The agreement is at the top. Semrush and Similarweb list the same five sites in the same order, and Ahrefs has all five in its top eight. Radar has google.com first and chatgpt.com sixth, with openai.com, the company domain behind ChatGPT, in second.

The splits are more useful.

Ahrefs puts youtube.com above google.com. That isn't a contradiction. Ahrefs counts visits that arrive from organic search results, and people reach YouTube videos from searches all day. A visit to google.com is usually the start of a search rather than the result of one, so a search-traffic ranking sees little of it. Ahrefs still estimates 18.7 million search visits to google.com in August, but that's fifth place on a list where youtube.com has 39.3 million.

Cricket barely registers on the visit lists and dominates the search list. Ahrefs has cricinfo.com fourth, with 20.8 million estimated search visits in August, cricbuzz.com ninth with 12 million, and icc-cricket.com 23rd. Similarweb has cricinfo.com 21st and no other cricket site in its top 50. Semrush's top 20 has none. Cricket is something people in Pakistan search for match by match, not a site they open every day.

The lower half of every list churns. On Semrush, visits to the unnamed domain in row 14 rose 26,859.31% month over month and kisskh.do's rose 134.58%. On Similarweb, fhway.live climbed 1,430 places to 35th, minigame.com climbed 33,236 places to 45th, and the sixth-placed domain, xhtv.today, climbed 31 places and is one Similarweb can't categorize. Ranks six to twenty describe one month, not a stable market.

Radar sees apps as well as browsers. A DNS lookup happens whenever any app or page on a device needs a domain, so Radar counts messaging and background services alongside browsing. That's why whatsapp.net, which Radar files under instant messengers, sits ninth. Radar reads more like a map of what Pakistani devices ask for than of what people choose to visit.

If you need one list to quote, pick the one whose method matches your question, then name it and date it.

Search engine market share in Pakistan: it's Google

StatCounter tracks which search engines send visitors to the more than a million websites that carry its code, counting every page view "referred by a search engine" (StatCounter FAQ). Its figures for Pakistan in August 2026, across all devices, desktop and mobile:

Search engineAll devicesDesktopMobile
Google97.11%95.17%99%
Bing1.89%3.59%0.21%
Yahoo!0.49%0.96%0.05%
Yandex0.31%0.16%0.45%
DuckDuckGo0.18%0.11%0.25%

Google's all-device share didn't drop below 95.97% in any month from August 2025 to August 2026, according to the monthly data behind the same chart. Bing's only foothold is the desktop, where it earns roughly one search referral in 28.

What follows for anyone who wants search visitors from Pakistan:

  • An organic plan for Pakistan is a Google plan. Bing Webmaster Tools is worth setting up for the desktop slice, and not worth much more effort than that.
  • google.com.pk is a sideshow. Similarweb's Pakistan search engine category for August 2026 ranks it fifth, behind google.com, bing.com, pitc.com.pk and nya2.com (Similarweb). That suggests most searching from Pakistan happens on google.com itself.
  • Category labels are machine-assigned. Similarweb files pitc.com.pk under Search Engines, while Ahrefs files the same domain under Business and Industrial. Check what a site is before you build an argument on its category.

The top sites are destinations, not traffic sources

Look at the "Main source" column in the top 20 again. Semrush labels 16 of the 20 as direct-led, and across its Pakistan top 100 it counts 80 direct-led sites, 13 search-led and 7 social-led. google.com's own main source is Direct: people open Google to search, they don't arrive at it from somewhere else. Only four of the top 20 have search as their main source: two adult sites, kisskh.do and reddit.com.

That describes where Pakistanis spend their visits. It doesn't describe how they reach a site they don't already use, which is the question a site owner actually has. StatCounter's referral data answers that one. Of the page views on its tracked sites in Pakistan that arrived from a search engine, a social network or an AI chatbot in August 2026, search sent 81.22%, social 18.47% and AI chatbots 0.3% (StatCounter).

Put the two together and the picture is simple. The biggest destinations in Pakistan are ones people open directly: Google, YouTube, the Meta apps, TikTok and ChatGPT. When they leave those for somebody else's website, the referral is a search result about four times in five. For a site nobody in Pakistan has heard of yet, search is the door.

AI assistants rank high and send almost nobody on

The newest thing in Pakistan's rankings is how high the AI assistants sit.

SiteSemrush, July 2026Similarweb, August 2026Semrush, year over yearDesktop share (Semrush)
chatgpt.com3rd, 63.7M visits3rd+46.6%80.58%

labs.google18th, 10.34M visits46th+1,490.43%41.63%

Cloudflare Radar agrees from a different angle, with openai.com second and chatgpt.com sixth among Pakistan's most looked-up domains.

They're also the most desktop-heavy sites near the top. On Semrush's estimates, 80.58% of chatgpt.com's visits and 90.86% of claude.ai's come from computers, against 29.23% for google.com. Our reading, and it's only a reading, is that people in Pakistan use AI assistants mainly for work and study at a desk, and search on their phones for most other things.

Now the referral side. StatCounter measures "the number of referrals from individual AI chatbots to websites" (StatCounter, June 2025). For Pakistan in August 2026:

  • Google against ChatGPT: Google sent 99.68% of the referrals counted between the two, ChatGPT 0.32% (StatCounter).
  • Among chatbots: ChatGPT 84.2%, Google Gemini 11.17%, Claude 2.52%, Perplexity 1.19%, Microsoft Copilot 0.91% and DeepSeek 0.01% (StatCounter).

So chatgpt.com is Pakistan's third most visited website, and it sends a fraction of a percent of the referrals Google does. People go there for an answer, and mostly they get it there. That isn't a reason to ignore AI assistants, because an answer that names your brand still reaches the person asking. It is a reason not to expect them to fill your analytics. We cover how assistants choose what to cite in how AI assistants pick their sources.

One caveat: referral data only sees visits where the chatbot identifies itself as the referrer. StatCounter's own announcement says Grok couldn't be included because it "does not provide referral data in its header."

What people in Pakistan search for

Ahrefs' list is the closest of the four to a map of search demand, because it counts only visits that arrive from organic results. Here is its August 2026 top 50 for Pakistan (Ahrefs), grouped by what the searcher wanted. The grouping is ours; the ranks and figures are Ahrefs'.

The table leaves out the global platforms that also sit near the top, and pitc.com.pk (17th, 4.6M), which we couldn't load to check what it is.

Three things stand out:

  1. The searches are practical. Scores, phone prices, pharmacies, weather, government services and file tools make up most of the list once you set the global platforms aside.
  2. Pakistani sites win where the need is local. priceoye.pk draws nearly three times gsmarena.com's estimated search visits, and daraz.pk, olx.com.pk and pakwheels.com hold shopping and classifieds.
  3. English-language pages win search traffic here. priceoye.pk, whatmobile.com.pk, marham.pk and dvago.pk all declare English as the page language in their HTML, and they're among the largest local search winners.

For a site owner, the useful lesson is narrow. The sites that win search visits in Pakistan are built around one repeated, practical question, and you can see what those questions are before you spend anything.

Phones or computers? The sources disagree

This is where the data conflicts, and it matters if you're weighing a desktop-only product, ours included.

Semrush's July 2026 estimates say Pakistan's biggest sites are mostly used on phones: 70.77% of google.com's visits, 68.02% of youtube.com's and 71.13% of tiktok.com's were mobile. The exceptions are tools used at a desk: chatgpt.com (80.58% desktop), whatsapp.com (80.73% desktop, which fits WhatsApp Web, the browser version people open on a computer), linkedin.com (71.03%) and claude.ai (90.86%).

StatCounter says nearly the opposite. It recorded 64.2% of Pakistani page views on desktop in August 2026, 35.32% on mobile and 0.48% on tablet (StatCounter). That's also a recent change. The monthly data behind the same chart, downloadable from the page:

MonthDesktopMobile
August 202531.52%67.72%
January 202648.63%50.75%
February 202650.81%48.69%
March 202638.88%60.58%
July 202651.62%47.76%
August 202664.13%35.39%

The downloaded file gives 64.13% for August, while the headline on the page, read the same day, says 64.2%. Over the same twelve months the same tracker shows India's desktop share rising from 21.51% to 35.1%, with mobile still at 64.31% (StatCounter). Pakistan's swing is more than twice India's, and it fell back sharply in March before climbing again.

We can't tell you which source is right, and we won't pick one quietly. They count different things: StatCounter counts page views on the sites that carry its code, while Semrush estimates visits to each domain from its clickstream panel. StatCounter says it works to exclude bots and flags any revision on its graphs with a note (StatCounter FAQ). No note appeared on the Pakistan chart when we read it on September 11, 2026.

What settles it for your site is your own data. Filter Search Console to Pakistan and read the Devices tab. Our guide to letting Search Console decide which country to target walks through that export, and choosing a desktop, mobile or mixed device split covers what to do with the answer.

Worked example: one site, three rankings

Take cricinfo.com and read it through each list the way you would read your own site.

  1. Ahrefs, August 2026: 4th, with 20.8 million estimated visits from organic search, up 6.3 million on the previous month. Subtract the monthly gain and Ahrefs' figure for July comes to about 14.5 million. That subtraction is ours.
  2. Semrush, July 2026: not in the top 20. The 20th site, an unnamed domain, has 9.37 million estimated visits, so Semrush's July estimate for everything cricinfo.com received, from search, direct and social combined, sits below that line.
  3. Similarweb, August 2026: 21st, between pinterest.com and olx.com.pk, with no visit figure on the free view.

Line the first two up. For the same month, Ahrefs estimates about 14.5 million visits from search alone, and Semrush's table implies fewer than 9.37 million from every source combined. They can't both be measurements of the same thing. They're two models built on different data, and neither vendor presents its figures as anything else.

Cricket makes a good stress test, because its traffic follows the fixture list. The lesson holds for any site, though: a ranking is good for order and direction, and bad as a traffic figure you'd plan or pay against.

Before you quote a "most visited" list

  • Name the vendor and the month. "Most visited" with no source and no date isn't a fact.
  • Say what's being counted: visits, traffic share, search visits or DNS lookups.
  • Quote the table, not the generated summary. Semrush's summary gets google.com's device split wrong.
  • Compare ranks and direction across vendors, never their raw numbers.
  • Treat fast-rising and uncategorized domains as noise until they last longer than a month.
  • Check what a domain is before you build an argument on its category.

If you want visitors from Pakistan

Everything above points one way. People in Pakistan find new websites mainly through Google, for practical questions, often on English-language pages, and they increasingly ask AI assistants that rarely send them onward. The market is large: DataReportal's Digital 2026: Pakistan counts 117 million internet users in October 2025, 45.6 percent of the population, alongside 194 million cellular mobile connections. Before you buy traffic from it, decide whether Pakistan belongs on your list at all, using the Search Console method linked above. If India is on the list too, buying website traffic in India covers the checks that apply there.

A few specifics before you order anything:

  • Language. Our Pakistan page pairs the country with Urdu (ur-PK), the default the Unicode CLDR locale data gives Pakistan. Language is a separate setting on each Website Traffic and Realistic Traffic campaign, so set it to what your real visitors use, which for an English-language site will usually be English.
  • Stray countries. Our delivery policy says traffic is sent from IP addresses in the targeted country, and that some shortener services, or sometimes Google Analytics, can report a different country. Expect a little spill in your reports.
  • Network type. Website Traffic and Realistic Traffic are delivered from data center IP addresses, as the same policy states. Anyone who looks up who owns the network will see that.
  • Ads. If your pages carry ads, bought visits must never be counted as ad impressions. Automated traffic counted that way is invalid traffic under every major ad network's rules, and the penalty lands on your account. Our ad filter blocks ad requests before they resolve, so the ads on your pages aren't fetched. That's a description of our mechanism, not a promise about what any ad network will conclude.
  • Rankings. None of this buys a position in Pakistan or anywhere else. Search engines publicly deny using clicks as a direct ranking factor, and the evidence either way is contested; we set it out in what search engines say about click data. What we commit to is delivering the clicks or visits you configure, from Pakistan, visible in your own reports.

Frequently asked questions

FAQ

What are the most visited websites in Pakistan right now?

google.com, youtube.com, chatgpt.com, facebook.com and whatsapp.com, in that order, on both Semrush's July 2026 list and Similarweb's August 2026 ranking. Below fifth place the lists diverge, so name the source and the month when you quote anything lower.

Which search engine do most people in Pakistan use?

Google, by a wide margin. StatCounter credits it with 97.11% of search engine referrals in Pakistan in August 2026, with Bing second at 1.89%, and Google's share on mobile was 99%.

Is ChatGPT one of the most visited websites in Pakistan?

Yes. chatgpt.com ranks third on both Semrush, with 63.7 million estimated visits in July 2026, and Similarweb for August 2026. It sends very few visitors on to other websites, though: StatCounter's August 2026 data gives ChatGPT 0.32% of the referrals it counts between Google and ChatGPT.

Why do Similarweb, Semrush and Ahrefs rank Pakistan's websites differently?

They count different things from different samples. Semrush estimates visits from clickstream data, Similarweb orders sites by traffic share, Ahrefs estimates organic search traffic only, and Cloudflare Radar ranks domains by lookups on its DNS resolver, so all four are estimates rather than counts.

Do people in Pakistan search more on mobile or on desktop?

The sources disagree. Semrush estimates that 70.77% of google.com's visits from Pakistan in July 2026 were on mobile, while StatCounter recorded 64.2% of Pakistani page views on desktop in August 2026, up from 31.52% a year earlier. Check the Devices tab in your own Search Console, filtered to Pakistan, before planning around either figure.

Can I buy website traffic from Pakistan, and will it show in Search Console?

Yes, but only search clicks show in Search Console. SparkCliks' SERP Clicks can be limited to people physically in Pakistan and are desktop only, while Website Traffic and Realistic Traffic send automated visits from data center IP addresses in Pakistan that appear in Google Analytics and not in Search Console. None of it guarantees a ranking.
